Parent Responsibility

PARENT RESPONSIBILITY

We couldn’t be more excited to start this upcoming season with your son. A lot of work
goes into getting a team prepared to take the field and we as coaches will be working
hard to help your son learn the game and learn his position all while having fun and
working hard. In order for our team to experience success we believe a strong
partnership between the parent and the head coach is very helpful. Here are a list of
commitments we are asking from each parent:
- Please have your son come to practice
- Please be on time for practice and please be on time picking him up for practice
- If your son has to miss due to illness or being out of town, please let the head coach
know
- Please have your son arrive to the game on time
- If you have any concerns about the team, or how your son is contributing, please
speak directly to the head coach
- During games, it is a league rule that parents stay in the stands/bleachers
- Please do not yell at the game officials and please do not taunt or make threats to
any team we play.
- We are asking all parents to demonstrate kind and hospitable conduct at all games,
either home or away.
- Parents are required to pay the registration fee and in addition to this purchase the
football gear needed for your son.

Gear Required to Purchase:

1) Football Cleats - Any color

2) Practice pants (white), Academy and Dick’s Sporting Goods sells football pants
with all the pads built into them. You do not need to purchase a girdle. These
practice pants will also serve as your son’s game pants. If you feel like having two
pairs will be easier to manage that will be fine, but we only require 1 pair. Nike,
Under Armor, Adidas, Russell will all have options online as well. White pants are
not see through – but if your son wear’s a darker color under garment a light
shade of that color could be detected. We recommend getting while colored
under garments for the white pants

3) Shoulder Pads – Can be purchased at Academy, Dick’s or online. Here is a helpful

4) White Helmet – Can be purchased at Academy, Dick’s or online. Here is a helpful

5) White Game Socks

6) Practice Jersey – Can be purchased at Academy and Dick’s
The Chattanooga Bolts will provide the game jersey (both home and
away) and your son’s mouth piece.
